Stephanie’s Family                      Easter                    Deacon Sung Won Yoon

Dear Friends

Hallelujah!!

I pray with all my heart that you may have health and peace in the grace of the Lord who transcends all circumstances. Healing in the Lord’s grace and enjoying the freedom in the Word,

Rainbow Family offers our monthly greetings with overflowing gratitude.

I would like to introduce 18 year old Stephanie and her daughter who recently turned 2. Stephanie was born in New York and moved with her mom to California when she was 6. There she met the baby’s father who was a drug addict and a violent person. The baby’s father ended up in prison and her daughter was taken away from her by Child Protection Services. She was living alone until she heard of our Rainbow Family Ministry and became part of our family. Although she is young, she has a strong determination to live with her daughter again. She is able to see her daughter once a week and when we see them together, we see how joyful they are. Seeing their happiness when they are together pushes our Rainbow Family to pray earnestly for them. We ask our supporters to join us in prayer. Thank you!!

We have met up with a long supporter of our ministry, Deacon Sung Won Yoon, from Torrance Good Shepherd Church and discussed ministry. I am so grateful to see her practice her neighborly love in her life.

For Easter, the mothers hid eggs and gifts inside and outside the house, saying that the person who finds it can claim it as his or hers. Likewise, they taught the children that those who call upon Jesus and seek his kingdom can possess heaven.  I am thankful that the Lord became hope for those who do not have hope and confidence in this world. But above all, I praise the Lord for providing eternal life through Jesus Christ.

Although there are many churches that go on missions with large expenses and travel vast distances, Rainbow Family focuses on making the United States a crime free society for our communities. When I think about our supporters who donate and pray for us, I am so thankful. I believe that the great blessings of the Lord will always be with you as well.

On Saturday, May 27th at 10am, our annual Walk-A-Thon will be hosted. We will depart from our Ministry at Buena Park and walk 50 blocks around the area. We are planning on using the money to help the costs of sustaining Rainbow Family. If you could write a donation form and send it. we will gratefully use it for the ministry.

We sincerely thank the Lord and our supporters that we are able to make our ministry centered on the Word of God without receiving government subsidies. Praise the Lord11

Isaiah 41:10

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

To the supporters who thank the Lord’s grace and serve your neighbors, I pray and bless that above your family, church, business, and ministry, the Lord’s resurrection power that makes all things good and an army of angels will always be by your side.

Because He lives,
