Happy Thanksgiving

With a grateful heart that resides under God’s grace, we offerour greetings.

2018 Walk-a-thon was very special due to the Pastor’s wife Mrs. Han and wonderful friends of Immanuel Churchwho has always supported us above and beyondand the volunteers fromIrvine volunteer group we were able to complete the Walk-A-Thonsafely. After a great time of fellowship and delicious lunch, we had a blessed time in which we offered glory to the Lord through praises and performances by RFI children.

I would like to thank all the churches and friends who donated for the RFI 2018 Walk-A-Thon.

The KAM chorale hosted a Love Concert that was dedicated to Rainbow Family Inc. Children from our ministry have also performed in the concert. Pastor Ahn and elders from Mission Community church and elders from Calvary Presbyterian Church have with grateful hearts served from early evening until the event finished.

I thank from bottom of my heart to the KAM chorale members and friends who volunteered their time and gifts.

Members of Grace Bible Church, which has recently settled down in Irvine, have visited our ministry. With Pastor David Lee’swonderful sermon and some church congregants have kindly provided us with delicious Brazilian Barbeque and monetary donations. Due to their visit, we were able to have a joyous and lovely Sunday Service at Home.

We want to thank them for their love and generosity.

After the expansion of our ministry,our residents and after school students, have been able to experience great joy of having more space to reside, study and play. However, the families that we have to help in the name of the Lord have been increasing, which means the costs have also risen as well, making it very difficult for us to maintain our ministry. Additionally, I amconcerned that we are not going to have enough to share food and gifts to celebrate with needy neighbors for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Please help me to help others!!

Every Thanksgiving, we distribute turkey and other food items around to our neighbors. The same will happen this year on a Saturday November 17th at 11:00 A.M. Please come join us!!

 Dear Friends

With a grateful heart that resides under God’s grace, we offerour greetings

As we are entering the season of harvest, I am reminded of his goodness and take the time offer a praise

of thanksgiving.

I would like to introduce a family that have been sent to us last month: single mother Jessi and her 8

month old son, Joseph. After Jessi was born under parents who were struggling with drug addictions, her

father was unfortunately deported to South America, where she and her 8 siblings were left with her

mother who was wrestling with her addiction problems. Due to financial shortcomings, Jessi were homeless and forced to live on the streets since she was 14years old she used and sold drugs. She didn’t know it was sin until she came to Rainbow Family and she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior that she realized that she is a sinner and that the life of her past have also been sinful. She is currently studying for the GED and is very hopeful. I would like to ask for prayers and support for both Jessi and her son.

In order to help with our financial burdens, we are holding a fundraising event with our yearly Walk-A-

Thon on October 20th. We will leave at 9:30 A.M. and walk 50 blocks from our Rainbow Family Mission

Center in Buena Park. After, we will be providing lunch and having fellowship at 12:30 P.M. We would

love for you to join us and help become sponsors of our participants. It was due to all your supporters

prayers and financial support that we were able to provide education and life help to moms and children

who were in need of the love. I would appreciate if all our supporters were able to join for our 2018

Walk-A-Thon through prayers and financial support. Thank you so much.

 

After leading 7 years of the RFI after school program, there have been some things that I have noticed

among the kids. Rugged faces are now beaming with smiles and performances in schools have improved.

I pray that through God’s love, our kids can become even healthier and stronger second generation

Christians and have great contributions to their neighborhoods. I would like to thank all our supporters and I would also like to return all the glory and praise back to the Lord.

Dear Friends,

I hope and pray all is well with you and yours in this warm weather.

With a grateful heart that resides under God’s grace, Rainbow Family offers our greetings

I would like to introduce 20 year old, single mother Alejandra and her 8 month old son, Max. Due to problems within the family, Alejandra was raised in a situation that was difficult for her to cope with at her young age. Soon after, she began to live with her neighbor in which shortly after she conceived Max. She shared that the father of her son has contracted a mental illness from drug usage and is currently in prison. Even on the day of the delivery, she was under the influence of drugs and had Max taken away from her when evidence of drug consumption was found in her blood system. Fortunately, she was able to get her son back and now she is part of our Rainbow Family. Alejandra is thankful that Max was born without any complications and she is praying that she lives the way it is instructed in the bible. I ask for support and prayers for her hopeful, new life.

Just like Jesus came down to Earth to save one soul, our ministry and friends like you are saving the lost and

wandering souls. I would like to thank you sincerely for partaking in this mission and journey with me.

Thanks to the dedication of Director Junhee Pyo and the volunteer group that she leads along with all our other supporters, 27 of our RFI students were able to graduate at Mission Community Church, the church Pastred by ChangHoon Ahn. Not only did they provide us with the venue, but they also provided supporters, guests, and RFI parents with a lovely meal. Deacon Dongil Kim, a congregant of Ilshin Presbyterian church, has again, as he does every year, provided the kids with a backpack full of school supplies. I would like to take the time to completely bow my head in thanksgiving for the servitude provided by everyone.

MyungEun Joo, President of the Sunny Foundation which has been a long supporter of our Rainbow Family, invited me to their 10 year anniversary ceremony. I was invited to share and congratulate their celebration and even got to discuss with other wonderful people the good works of God that were being quietly and obediently fulfilled.

Please help me with financial support so that I may be able to consistently help our neighbors in need.

I thank God for you and I give all the glory to our God who is always good and faithful.
