Happy New Year!!

Dear friends, Hallelujah!!

As we welcome the first month of the new year, we pray that the grace and peace of our Lord may overflow in your homes and in every part of your lives.  

With the door to 2026 now open, our hearts are filled with anticipation and excitement for the new paths God will unfold for our community.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who prayed for and partnered with our ministry throughout the past year.  

Because of your dedication and love, we were able to share the light of the Gospel with families in need and with the next generation. As we look back on all that God has done through your faithful support, our hearts are full of thanksgiving.

January is a time to renew our hearts and realign our steps before God.  

This year, Rainbow Family Ministry desires to continue serving with the conviction that when a healthy family is built upon the Gospel, that family becomes a channel of life and restoration for other families.

As we begin the new year, we hold tightly once again to the mission God has entrusted to us, and we hope to walk forward in obedience, one step at a time.  

Each one of you is a precious partner in this ministry and a beloved member of God’s family as we build His kingdom together.

Last July, Rainbow Family Ministry was blessed to be featured on CGNTV’s *Mission Log*.  

After watching the broadcast, Mr. Taewon Kim and his family embraced our ministry in their hearts and supported us with great love and generosity. We sincerely thank them, and we pray that God’s abundant grace and peace will always rest upon Mr. Kim and his household.

This past Christmas, we had a truly grace-filled time with our Rainbow families through the gifts and beautiful music prepared by FYLA. The children and their families were filled with joy and comfort, and we were deeply touched by the love with which they served. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone at FYLA for remembering our families and sharing such warm generosity. May God’s abundant blessings and grace always be with you.

We were also blessed by a visit from the Rainbow Cell Group of Immanuel Baptist Church, who have supported us faithfully with unchanging love and prayer for many years. Their presence brought great encouragement and comfort to our families. We sincerely thank you for your quiet yet steadfast prayers and love.

In addition, we are grateful to Rev. Hyunsoo Kim, Pastor Emeritus of Torrance Good Shepherd Church, along with his wife and Deaconess Sungwon Yoon, for visiting Rainbow Family Ministry and offering us great love and encouragement. We pray that God’s grace and peace will continually rest upon the loving service of the pastor, his wife, and Deaconess Yoon.

We pray that the protection, hope, and peace of the Lord will always be with you who constantly provide to neighbors in need with outstretched arms. We bless that you be filled with spiritual things of heaven and the fertile things of the earth.

Hallelujah!

We are entering the beautiful season of autumn. We pray with all our hearts that the great peace of the Lord will always be with you. The Rainbow Family, deeply grateful for His abundant grace, sends greetings in the name of the Lord.

We were invited to join the 38th Anniversary Worship Service of Pastor Han Choong Ho and his congregation, who have consistently offered prayers and support for the mission members and their new lives. Congratulations on your 38th church anniversary. We bow our heads in deep gratitude to the members of the Rainbow Cell Group and church congregation who have supported the Rainbow Family Mission with prayers and financial aid for over 20 years.

We also sincerely congratulate Evergreen Mission Church on its 23rd anniversary. We extend heartfelt thanks to Pastor Ahn Chang Hoon and his congregation, who have faithfully supported the Rainbow Family Mission with unwavering prayers and contributions for over 10 years, and especially to the Koinonia Cell Group for their devoted support and prayers.

Thanks to your generous support and that of your precious churches, even during these difficult times, we are able to share abundantly with our struggling neighbors and children. We give tearful thanks for your love and praise our good Lord, who allows us to experience miracles and proclaim victory, showing the world that His kingdom is always overflowing with blessings.

    Jasmine’s Family                   Walk A Thon 2025                  Im Jung-hwa group

Dear Friends 

Hallelujah!!

May you have a beautiful July, blooming like the wildflowers of early summer, wrapped in the love of our Lord. Rainbow Family sends warm greetings.

I’d like to introduce Jasmine, a 30-year-old single mother, and her six children, who became a family last month. Her children are 9-year-old daughter Medlan, 8-year-old son Exavier, 6-year-old Skya, 5-year-old daughter Malin, 3-year-old Livia, and her youngest son Anthony. During her marriage, Jasmine endured repeated abuse from her husband. One day, after he had been drinking and was asleep, she violently attacked him, which led to her imprisonment and the loss of her children. Since then, she has worked hard to comply with requirements to regain custody of her children, and as a result, she has been given the opportunity to live with them again. I pray that Jasmine and her lovely children can live a joyful new life together. 

We earnestly await your support and prayers.

I’d like to introduce the volunteer group led by Director Im Jung-hwa, a long-time supporter. 

I believe and give thanks that the Lord will abundantly bless the future of these volunteers who come from various countries and serve with all their heart and strength.

We sincerely thank all the sponsors and churches who supported the 2025 Walkathon. This event involves walking 50 blocks around Buena Park to raise funds. This year, we had a special time walking with the Future Young Leaders of America volunteer group, followed by a delicious lunch and fellowship.

We, the Rainbow Family, send you greetings with a grateful heart in the grace of the Lord.

Amidst the ever-changing weather, we hope you are staying well and at peace. The Rainbow Family sends our warmest greetings, living each day with grateful hearts in the grace of our Lord.

We are deeply thankful to the Women’s Missionary Society of Il-Shin Presbyterian Church, who generously visited us with essential daily supplies. Our heartfelt gratitude also goes to the pastors, their wives, and all the devoted members of Il-Shin Presbyterian Church for their boundless love and steadfast prayers.

The ” Nanugo Youth Society,” who have been faithfully volunteering with us for a long time, joined the mothers in ministering to the children at the mission home—teaching projects, English, and math with love. We praise our gracious Lord, who will greatly bless their future.

All the members of the mission home recently enjoyed a wonderful day at O.C. Zoo, riding boats and cycling. The children were especially delighted to interact with the animals. For days afterward, they kept reliving the joy of that day—a poignant reminder of how harsh their lives had been before.

Every day at the mission home is sustained by your love, prayers, and generous support. The children, our mission family, and I sincerely thank you and pray for God’s richest blessings upon you.

Philippians 4:6-7

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with

thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

We, the Rainbow Family, send you greetings with a grateful heart in the grace of the Lord.

To all mothers, we wish you a Happy Mother’s Day!

This month, we’d like to introduce Maria, a 33-year-old single mother, and her two children—9-year-old Noah and 7-year-old Annabelle—who have just joined our family. Maria was born in California, at 19, met the father of her children, who struggled with alcohol and drug addiction. Though she knew she was falling deeper into addiction herself, she stayed with him because she felt alone after her parents and siblings returned to Mexico. Eventually, the family became homeless, and life grew so difficult that they came to the Rainbow Mission. We pray that they may be healed by the love of Jesus and humbly ask for your support. Thank you!!

The volunteers from Young Leaders of America have been serving faithfully for many years without fail. Every time they visit, parents joyfully participate by bringing food, gifts, and donations. Words cannot fully express our gratitude. We believe the Lord will shine His light upon their future and pour out abundant blessings on them. Thank you!!

Parents and volunteers from Shalom Church in Torrance visited us and held a wonderful event. A portrait artist joined them and beautifully captured the faces of the mothers and children living at the mission. It was a time of sweet fellowship and praise. 

We sincerely thank them for their passion and pray for God’s blessings upon them.

Isaiah 41:10

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

To the supporters who thank the Lord’s grace and serve your neighbors, I pray and bless that above your family, church, business, and ministry, the Lord’s resurrection power that makes all things good and an army of angels will always be by your side.
