Dear Friends,
Hallelujah!!

I hope all is well with you.
Nice cool breeze and the changing color of the leaves sure feels like autumn.

I cannot put up the picture because of confidentiality but we had a Korean thanksgiving feast at the Jonathan home in Las Vegas. It was great time of fellowship, no matter how hard the circumstances are we rejoice in our culture and comforted each other.

Jessica and Joseph was with us in the Buena Park home for one year, they successfully graduated from the 12 month rehabilitation program. We thank God for his faithfulness. While she was with us she obtained a job to help her be able to rent a room from her grandpa. Would you pray with me for her victory in the Lord.

I was invited to be a guest speaker for the Women’s Ministry Dedication Service at our old time friend and supporter New Hope Church in Pasadena. I was impressed by their zeal to serve the community as a woman’s group. We had a wonderful time of fellowship that was full with love. I trust the Lord blessed everyone that dedicated themselves that day.

Orange Korean Church located in Fullerton invited all Rainbow Family to their picnic service. We had great food; great fellowship and our single moms were comforted by their love and kindness. Thank God for their friendship.

I thank everyone who joined us in our annual phone-a-thon as a yearly member also for being a onetime giver at this event.  Please join us to be a member of financial support team for $20.00 a month so we can bring souls to the kingdom as well as provide hot meals and warm bed for many single mothers in Jesus name.
If you haven’t responded to this life changing call please join us now.

Thank you so much for your help.  All of us sending you our special love and thanks.

Isaiah 58: 7-8
“Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter-when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? Then your light will break forth like dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.”

I pray for God’s rich blessings upon you and yours.

Microsoft Word - 9 월달 편지 12          Amanda’s Family           grandmother Issa and Kids    LA Young Nak Celebration Church

Dear Friends,   Hallelujah!!
I hope all is well with you in these hot summer days.
Rainbow Family is filled with his love growing in faith daily.

I would like to introduce new family we have in the home. 25 year old mother named Amanda, 6 year old son Nathan and 2 year old son Zack. Amanda was born in Ontario. She never knew her mom.  Father is a Christian and she went to church. When she was 17 years old she met her husband they always struggled with drug and alcohol addiction. One day husband just left home, leaving Amanda and 2 kids behind. About 4 months ago she found out he was in jail. Loneliness and regret took her into a deeper addiction and she couldn’t handle her life let along taking care of the children. Church that she belonged to found the Rainbow Family Ministry brought her to us.  She has a daily struggle would you pray with me for her victory in Christ.

59 year old lady Issa was a single mother all her life she worked very hard to raise 3 children; her 24 year daughter who is very deep into drug addiction and in and out of jail, was struggling  with 2 children. Issa was  helping  her daughter with her family, one day the daughter just left her 2 kids behind with grandmother Issa. She was praying to find a safe place to go with her 2 grandchildren. Lord answered her prayer and brought her to Rainbow Family. She prays in her tears every night for her daughter’s salvation. Personally I have never seen anyone so grateful to the Lord for her refugee.
I believe the Lord will comfort her and keep them.

LA Young Nak Celebration Church came out with more than 20 volunteers, to serve families at the home for “Queen for more than a day” project. They came out with such a love in their hearts, to serve our mothers and children. The kids did crafts and had so much fun. Mothers had haircuts, facials, pedicure, and manicures they looked like a Queen and felt like a Princess. And one team went out to the front yard and painted a play ground they donated  few years ago like brand new. Their unconditional love and serving harts for the community encouraged us and gave our mothers confidence and did wonders for their self-esteem. We thank the Lord for them.

Because of Confidentiality we are not able to put pictures of families living in the Jonathan Home.
Would you pray with me for their healing?
Because of Las Vegas financial depression it is very hard to find the supporters for the ministry in the city. I need your help desperately to keep the doors open.

Matthew25:35-36
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,
I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’”

Please join me through phone-a-thon to give clean bead and warm nourishing food to struggling single mother families by becoming a yearly member for the RFM.  I thank you.

Dear Friends,

I hope all is well with you.

RFM is in ministry for the 10th year. We praise the Lord for saving me and brother park long ago to use us in his kingdom work. Touch us with his knowledge of grace to know meaning of the cross and thank him for making us radical followers to carry on his great commission to be a missionary to Jerusalem, Judah, Samaria and to the ends of the earth. I thank God for being Father to the fatherless, husband to the widow and taking them to a victory in all circumstances.

Within 10 years Mrs. Kim, Mun, Kang…….Maria, Sarah, Jessica, Michelle…. about 300 different families been given shelter and feed them, clothed them, healed them and he broke their shackles and freed them in the truth.
I cry overwhelmed with thanksgiving in my heart remembering his Goodness and Mercy over the years

Since the summer of 2002 you came and prayed for me and supported me financially and morally, you believed in our ministry and you were always there for us. Thank God for friends like you. We opened Jonathan Home in Las Vegas in 2011 for the domestic violence and human trafficking victims. And you remember to pray for me and sent contributions to Las Vegas so we could continue ministry there.
I thank you from bottom of my heart for all your prayers and support to bring us this far.

We had many difficult times during last 10 years, without your love and encouragement we couldn’t have made it.
I am expecting with you his good work in the future.  I praise the Lord for you.

We assure you RFM will share the good news with the lost and the least and shed his love anywhere now and until the day of Jesus Christ.

James 1:27

Jonathan Home Dedication Service            Joseph’s Graduation               Lizette and Children

Dear Friends,
Hallelujah!!

Bright sunshine reminds us summer is on its way. I hope everything is well with you.

Children from Rainbow Family are enjoying their summer vacation running around and playing on the playground.

The 14th of June we had a dedication service for the Jonathan home in Las Vegas. Supporters of the ministry drove in and flew in from California. A couple of churches from Las Vegas joined us, the founders of The Walter Hoving  Home  and also the Korean Association Executives were there. Over 40 friends and supporters gathered together in new facility that is bright and spacious praising the Lord for his good work. Asking him to pour down his spirit in the city that’s been darkened by the things of world for so long. We were praying in one accord that the Lord would heal the city through the Jonathan Homes vision. I thank everyone that came that day even in the midst of their busy schedules.

Jessica’s son precious little Joseph graduated from Kindergarten. Joseph was born 2006 at rainbow house. Jessica his mom graduated the program successfully and went back home with Joseph. Joseph lost his father through violent crime and they came to live with us last year. Joseph is very bright and happy little man. He loves school and most of the time he gets 100% on his schoolwork and makes Jessica and us very happy and proud. We need your prayer and support so Jessica and Joseph will always renew their joy of salvation daily.

Lizette started working at Knott’s Berry Farm. She goes to work diligently every day with cute costume. She is going to the court July 17th to get her 3 daughters back into her custody. Lizette has been in rehab for almost a year she is determined to live new way of life. Would you pray with me that Lizette would get her children back so she can have a chance to be a mother again.

Thank you so much for your generous contribution to the ministry. Opening up Jonathan Home over a year ago took a big toll on Rainbow Family’s finance. But I praise God for friends like you to allow us to do Lords will and give helping hands and shelter to the domestic violence and human trafficking victim and other struggles in life for mothers and children here in  California and Las Vegas. I need your help more than ever before to maintain what the Lord has blessed us with.

1 Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

I want to thank you from bottom of my heart for your prayers and generosity.
I pray for God’s rich blessings upon you and yours.

Aya & Children                                     Lizette                                L.VWalter Hoving Home

Dear Friends,
Hallelujah!!
How are you?
Greetings from Rainbow Family

I want to introduce new family member 30 year old Aya Yamanaka and 10 year old daughter Trinity and 5 month old Umi. Aya came to the United States when she was 19 to go to school in West Covina, California. She was hired by travel agency working as a Japanese tour Guide in Las Vegas.  She fell in love with the tour bus driver they had a daughter together, but he was very abusive to her and little girl. She was in tremendous fear and always in uncertainty. Trinity’s dad is currently in prison. As a single mother she worked very hard to support her and her daughter and she meet Umi’s father at her job.  But that relationship was also very abusive.  Through Japanese church in Las Vegas she was introduced to Jonathon Home and now she is residing at the home with the children in safe environment. She is praising God and recovering from her trauma she experienced. Would you pray with me that she will know more about Jesus and his healing power.

Single mother Lizette came to us last month. LIzette children’s father past away a few years back. She was going through hardship of loneliness, stress, being under pressure and raising her children by herself.  Pressure took her down the road of drug and alcohol addiction. She finished 9 months of drug and alcohol program successfully before entering Rainbow Home in Buena Park.   She is waiting for the court to release her children back to her. She is looking for a job and working on her sobriety to be a better mother and productive member of society.
Please pray with me for her victory in the future.

Our sister program Walter Hoving Home in Las Vegas came to visit us. We shared our ministry direction and vision in the future together. We had wonderful time of fellowship.
I thank Dr. Benton and his wife Rev. Elsie for their partnership and love.

Jonathan Home purchased a bigger and safer facility to help Women and children with today’s life struggles in Las Vegas.  In the process of purchasing the home we had some difficulties but the Lord sent us wonderful people to take care of things for us so we can dedicate the Jonathan Home to our Lord and Savior.

We need your help more than ever before Rainbow Family <CA and NV> financial needs are greater than ever.
We can’t do this without friends like you.

Corinthians 9:9-10
“He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.” Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.

I want to thank you from bottom of my heart for your prayers and generosity.
I pray for God’s rich blessings upon you and yours.
