Dear Friends, 

Hallelujah!!

We hope you have not been affected by any disasters or the ongoing virus. We pray that the great comfort and peace of the Lord be with you always. The Rainbow Family, grateful for the Lord’s grace, sends you greetings in the name of the Lord.

We would like to introduce Samantha, a 25-year-old single mother, and her 1-year-old son, Roland. Samantha was born in California and grew up with her two older brothers under a single mother. She never met her father and grew up in a home where her mother’s boyfriends came and went, feeling lonely. She witnessed her mother struggling with drug addiction and eventually fell into drug use herself. Her mother still lives in a nearby shelter. Samantha does not know who the father of her baby is, but she is determined to raise her son on her own. She currently works at Walmart and, despite late hours, manages without complaints. We ask for your prayers and support for Samantha and her son.

Pastor Hyo-Sung Ahn and his wife, along with three deaconesses from Il Shin Presbyterian Church, long-time supporters of the Rainbow Mission, visited us with supplies, food, and donations. Their visit brought great comfort and encouragement to me and the members of the mission. Thank you very much for your love!!

We would also like to introduce the Fyla volunteer group, which has been serving the mission for a long time. We are grateful to the students and their parents who love and serve their neighbors in this era. The Lord will surely be pleased with their love for their neighbors, which they show by visiting us twice a month without fail, and will bless them greatly.

Thanks to the support of you and your precious churches, we are able to generously share with our neighbors and children in need even during these difficult times. We tearfully thank the Lord, who always fills His kingdom with blessings and proclaims victory to the world, and we praise the good Lord who allows us to experience miracles through your love.

Dear friends  Hallelujah!!

How are you doing amidst the fluctuating weather? The Rainbow Family, striving to live according to the Word of the Lord, sends you warm greetings.

We would like to introduce Gelsi, a 23-year-old who joined our family last month, along with her daughter Luna, who is not yet one year old. Gelsi is the youngest of 13 siblings. Her father is from Mexico, and her mother was born in Spain. Unfortunately, her mother passed away from cancer before turning 40, and Gelsi had to move between foster homes from the age of 13. At 19, she met Luna’s father, who gave her the love she had never received from her parents. Due to her lack of social experience and the fact that he was the first man she had ever met, she became deeply attached to him. However, he was a married man who used drugs. After Luna was born, he moved to another city, and they lost contact. Heartbroken, Gelsi also started using drugs but has since come to the Rainbow Family Ministry, where she is focusing on the Word of GOD and doing well. We ask for your prayers and support for Gelsi and her family. Thank you!!

We were honored to be invited to the 17th-anniversary dinner of the Sunny Foundation, a long-time supporter. We are deeply grateful for your consistent support since the foundation’s inception.

Several volunteer groups have been visiting our ministry. We would like to introduce the newly connected Sharing and Service Group Nanugo. These passionate and loving students teach and play with the lonely children at our ministry and collect allowances to donate as support funds. We praise the Lord for these wonderful students. Thank you!!

Two deaconesses from the Unige Women’s Association of Orange Korean Church visited us with many daily necessities and donations. We bow our heads in gratitude for their love.

 1 Timothy 1:16  “But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.”

May you be grateful for the great grace of the Lord and serve your neighbors. We pray that the resurrection power of the Lord will always be with your family, church, business, and ministry of sponsors who serve their neighbors. Blessings!!

May the Lord’s grace be with you always. The Rainbow Family, which strives to live according to His word, sends warm greetings.

Let me introduce you to new members of our family: 29-year-old single mother, Jenee, and her adorable 2-year-old son, Lb, originally from LA, faced lack of love early in life due to the loss of her parents. Currently, she attends beauty school and work diligently to support her family. We kindly request your prayers and support for Jenee’s household.

Long time friend and supporter Torrance Good Shepherd Church Pastor Lee Seung-hyuk,  Associate Pastor Kim Ki-eup and Pastor James Kim,  along with Deacon Yoon Sung-won, visited us. Their presence was heartwarming and greatly appreciated. All glory to the Lord!

Allow me to introduce the Fyla Volunteer Group, which visits us twice a month. Comprising around ten high school students, they bring delicious lunches and snacks to share with the children at our mission center. They also teach English, math, and art, embodying the spirit of service that can truly transform society.

We sincerely thank you for your generous support, both big and small. Your prayers and care for us are deeply appreciated. Together with our fellow believers and churches, we lift our heads in gratitude, giving all glory to our faithful Lord

        Estella Family             Las Vegas True Love Church        Fila Volunteer group

Hallelujah!!

May you have a beautiful July, blooming like the wildflowers of early summer, wrapped in the love of our Lord. Rainbow Family sends warm greetings.

Allow me to introduce Estella, a 32-year-old mother who recently became part of our Korean family. She has three children: Delaine (11), Daelin (8), and Dillian (7). Estella was born in California to Mexican parents. She struggled with addiction herself and faced domestic violence. After her husband was incarcerated, their three children were taken away by government agencies. With a heavy heart, Estella lived with her mother until she heard about Rainbow Family Mission Center. When she learned that we support families facing similar challenges, she came to us, and we were able to reunite her with her children. We are grateful for your support and prayers. Rainbow Family Mission, established through your generosity, is opening new paths for families in need, even those who feel abandoned. We do this in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you.

Last month, our mission families were invited by True Love Church in Las Vegas. We spent three joyful nights and four days there. Witnessing the love shared by the pastor, elders, and all the church members, we glimpsed heaven’s love—a love that transcends worldly boundaries.

On the second Saturday of last month, the Young Leaders of America (Fila) volunteer group visited us. They shared lunch with our marginalized children, played games, and spent a delightful Saturday afternoon. We sincerely thank all the volunteers and their leaders.

Isaiah 61:3
“And provide for those who grieve in Zion- to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.”

    Birthday party                       Walkathon 2024                  Sunny Foundation

Dear Friends, 

Hallelujah!!

I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.

Living in the grace of the Lord with a grateful heart, Rainbow Family offers our monthly greetings.

There was a Walkathon event on May 18th.

Emmanuel Baptist Church’s evangelist Choi Jeong, who has been a long-time sponsor, along with Brandon Byun and the youth group, and the graduated families, brought sponsorship money and food. We became one with the Rainbow Family, walked 50 blocks safely, returned, had a delicious lunch, and had a good time together. We especially thank all of you who became sponsors of the Walkathon during these difficult times.

Jackie’s daughter, Evelyn, who has been living with us for six months, turned five. We had a happy birthday party for cute Evelyn in the park and had a fun day.

Already, for over 20 years, the members of the Sunny Foundation, who have been sponsoring the mission with one heart. made a delicious dinner and treated the missionary family. We sincerely thank them for their love.

We believe that the Lord opens a new life for those who are marginalized in society and allows the best conditions to win. We give all thanks and glory to the loving Lord. We believe and pray that your prayers and efforts will open the gates of heaven, and that the society living together will be realized on earth as it is in heaven. Thank you.

Philippians 4:6-7
