Dear Friends

Hallelujah!!!

I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.

With a grateful heart that resides under God’s grace, Rainbow Family offers our greetings

As an extension of the all year round after school program for the low income families in our community, Summer School hasstarted. This yearwe have 25 students in the R.F.I. summer school program. Because of financial issues, these single mother families are facing many hardships. But fortunately, help from friends like you Rainbow Family is able to confidently hold the torch in the front lines with gospel and serve as a leader for the efforts in community improvement.

I would like to introduce and acknowledge our lovely volunteers who have provided us with prayers, donations, and their precious time and gifts.

Without failure every Wednesday A.W. Fullerton Community Group has come and provided the summer school students with snacks and meals, love and encouragement. I thank for their compassionate heart.

Pastor Jung Chan Kim from Calvary Presbyterian Church, which is located on our same block, Pastor and Mrs. Kim, Elder Deacon Mu Young Choe, and many members of congregants have served the students with meals and provided us with exceptional help. What a blessing to have such a great church community to be near us.

Director Junhee Pyo and group of Volunteers from Irvine Volunteer Association comes Monday through Friday and have provided the kids with lessons on math, English, and Music. In particular, Deacon Meejin Kim and Deborah Joo have been teaching the kids instruments and motions for praise, providing the students with a very joyous and memorable time.

Katherine Yoon who serves at Torrance Good Shepherd Church has graduated from Rhode Island School of Arts. She has decided to stay in California for the summer and has also been continually helping our R.F.I. students learn and even incorporate art into their daily lives. Thank you so much.

I believe that the Lord has opened up new lives for these children and have granted them with the best conditions. I offer all the thanks and glory to the loving Lord.

Through your efforts, I believe and continue serving knowing that His will be done on Earth as it is done in Heaven.

I praise the Lord for blessing us with beautiful friends like you. Glory to God !!

Isaiah 61:3

And provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beautyinstead of ashes, the oil of joyinstead of mourning, and a garment of praiseinstead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness,

a planting of the Lordfor the display of his splendor.”

I pray that the power of resurrection of our Lord Jesus will be with you, your family, and your church always and God bless you!

Because He lives,
