Hope and pray you are doing well in this warm summer weather.
Greetings to you from Rainbow family in the name of our Lord.
I would like to introduce a new family member that has been sent to us last month: 18 year old single mother Dakota and her 1month old son Carter. Having never known her father, Dakota has constantly moved around due to her parent’sdrug addiction. She has been sent to foster care and after has been sent to group homes that were overseen by the government. The probationbrought Dakota and her son in to ourcare.
Dakota explains that she has never received so much love and peace in her life and therefore a great affection for the word of God. I ask for your support and prayers so that Dakota and her son will be able to attain the strength to live and succeed in life.
A long time supporter and friend of Rainbow family home, deacon Soo Lee and art teacher have came with delicious Lunch and also given our students a great time by helping them create their own tie-dye shirts.
I am so thankful for their Compassion and love.
Just like last year, Pastor Young Park and his youth ministry from Il Shin Presbyterian Church has visited our Home and have provided our RFI children with 3days of VBS. I would like to thank Senior Pastor Hyo Sung Ahn and his wife, deacons, and the elders of the church for sharing and teaching the specificities of the word of God and for also providing the students with an endless supply of love.
This summer,working with the 25 students that live in great hardships, Rainbow summer school has been an arduous task and I must admit there are times when I suffer both physically and emotionally. However in the midst of all the people in the world, I am thankful to the point of tears that as a lacking person as I am and Pastor Yun Park have been assigned to share his love and gospel. And through doing his will, Lord gave a compassionate heart that ultimately overcame my weakness Praise the Lord!!.
I praise the Lord who will be glorified through your love and dedication to the needy. Hallelujah!!
