Norma and Bianca             R.F.I . Summer School              Veronica’s Family

Dear Friends,

Hallelujah!!

I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.

With a grateful heart that resides under God’s grace, Rainbow Family offers our greetings

As an extension of the all year round after school program for the low income families in our community, Summer School has started. This year we have 27 students in the summer school program. Because of financial issues, these single mother families are facing many hardships. But fortunately, help from friends like you Rainbow Family is able to confidently hold the torch in the front lines and serve as a leader for the efforts in community improvement.

In our Rainbow Family home, there are 6 families that are residing with us. The family that joined us last month was Norma, a 43-year-old single mother, and her 9-year-old daughter, Bianca. Due to addiction, Norma and the father of her daughter resorted to selling drugs of which they got  jail sentence for. Bianca’s father parted ways and therefore made it difficult to know his whereabouts for many years. Norma, full of anxiety, has been in shelters, rehabilitation centers, and jail. Because of this she was forced to stay distant and away from her daughter. She confesses she has never felt such joy of waking up with her daughter and eat breakfast together every day. Every morning during bible study, she thanks the Lord for giving her a second chance in life.

Please pray and support for Norma and Bianca’s new beginning.

34-year-old Veronica, along with her 12-year-old daughter, Jenavi, 9-year-old daughter, Angelina, and Aldo who just celebrated his first birthday, have joined our Rainbow Family last month. Amidst the hardship that Veronica and her children’s father faced due to their addiction to drugs, her young children were taken from her. She went through the rehabilitation program and she could get her children back from the children protective services. Even their father is going through the process at the rehabilitation and is making progress. Veronica is steadily making great progress as she is reading the bible, hoping that she will be able to marry children’s father in the future and live out the life that God had planned for her and the children. Please pray for Veronica that her life may be prosperous.

I want to deeply thank you from bottom of my heart for your prayers and support as it had allowed Rainbow home to become a refuge and shelter for single mothers and their children .

Ephesians 2:10

“For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

I pray and bless that above your family, church, business, and ministry, the power of the Resurrection will allow for making all things prosperous.

Because He lives,
